Concept Development-Exploration 1

For this project we where assigned to find 3 Production company animated logos.
I enjoyed this project very much, because it brought me back some memories.

The first logo I picked is the cartoon network "cartoon cartoons"logo. This came from Cartoon Networks Golden age during late 90's and early 2000's.This logo has a lot of memories for me it brings me back to the cartoons of my childhood. The logo itself is catchy, active and the music sets the mood for a good time. When I was younger and that logo played on the TV I knew I was in for a good time.

The second one is the Marvel cinematic logo, this logo was first introduced when the first live action  spiderman movie came out in 2002. this logo is not very nostalgic but it dose resonate with my personal taste. like the previously discussed animated logo the Marvel logo prepares the viewer for what their about to watch, it sets the mood with a fast paced action filled scene with primarily red over tones giving an exciting powerful feel. this combined with a fast paced rhythm slowly reaching a crescendo gets the viewer ready for an action packed adventure.

My third logo is the paramount logo this logo falls into what I would call the realm of the "majestic cloudy goodness". I've noticed that clouds tend to appear a lot in logos that want to display a form of beauty and majesty. For example the logos for DreamWorks, Disney, and Lionsgate all start with or include clouds. Clouds symbolize divinity, which is interesting because Disney and DreamWorks (DreamWorks is owned by Paramount) are the largest and most revered animation companies in the country.
The reason I like the paramount logo is because of its simple elegance and symbolism. Clouds that symbolize divinity, Mt. Everest that symbolizes strength and wisdom, and stars that represent power.
It's an old logo recognized around the world that lives up to what its logo symbolized.
